ICM Summer Program 2023

Inner City Ministries believes that we have the ability to make a difference in our community and are dedicated to serving our city and its families. With this in mind, we’ve decided to run our summer program this year (Vacation Bible School, Discipleship Training School and Kingdom Warriors). This is a tremendous opportunity to get to know our community’s kids and young adults, make an impact, and build trusting relationships. Moreover, it’s a great opportunity to share the love of God through your time and gifts. This is one of the most important events for our ministry and we really can’t do it without your help. We believe that though your acts of kindness may be small, their impact will be huge. Below are the events happening this summer. Please feel free to sign up or help us to find more volunteers. Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an outreach ministry of Inner City Ministries to provide for and educate children about God. VBS is an easy way to get kids involved in different activities through which we can build trusting relationships with them.

Venue: 9/F Keybond Commercial Building, 38 Ferry St., Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon

Volunteer Roles: You can help with snacks, crafts, registration, setting up, breakout group leading, storytelling, coordinating other volunteers, and more. You can recruit a team or can join personally.

Kingdom Warriors & Mini DTS

The Mini Discipleship Training School (Mini DTS) and Kingdom Warriors programs seek to bring our teens and young adults closer to God. It is a one-week residential discipleship program that keeps ourselves away from the craziness of this city. During these times we can grow into a deeper relationship with God through prayer, worship, and studying the Bible. It also helps our teens and young adults to build relationships with each other through different fun activities and games.

Venue: YWAM Base – 100A Shui Tau Tsuen, Kam Tin, Yuen Long, New Territories (100A 水頭村，錦田，元朗，新界)

Volunteer Roles: You can help us in teaching, hospitality work, and helping in the kitchen (cooking, cleaning, serving etc.). You can come to the camp for the day or stay over for the week to volunteer with us.
