Bible Reading Plan

Watermark Reading Plan 2025

Time with God in his Word is such a key way to grow as a Christian, so let’s read the Bible together as a church this year! On weekdays, we will be reading a variety of Old Testament and New Testament books, usually following the church’s preaching schedule.

There are no readings for the weekend, so you can either use it to catch up if you’re behind, or do something of your choice. Examples would be reading through the Psalms, or read a weekly devotional such as this.

There are three ways to get the reading plan.

  • You can pick up a bookmark at church with the passages for the first quarter (January-April).
  • You can download the whole year’s schedule as a printable PDF here.
  • You might want to have it as a to-do list on your phone or computer, see below.

But no matter which way, let’s be encouraged and changed by the living and enduring Word of God.

Steps to download the reading plan as a to-do list

1. Download the free app ‘Todoist’ on your phone, and create an account.

The following actions need to be done on a desktop, with either the Todoist desktop app or a browser.

2. Open this page on the desktop and click the CSV links below to download the reading plan file you want. (Currently only Quarter 1 and 2 available)

Quarter 1 (1 January – 04 April)

Quarter 2 (05 April – 27 June)

Quarter 3 (30 June – 05 September)

Quarter 4 (08 September – 31 December)

3. Log in to the Todoist desktop app, or in a browser go to https://app.todoist.com/auth/login and log in.

4. In Todoist, create a project for the quarter you want to add (e.g. “WM 2025 Q1”)

5. Click on the three dots next to the project, click “Import from CSV” and select the CSV file you downloaded.

The reading plan will now be automatically downloaded as project tasks, and can be used on your desktop or phone app. You can select the list as a project or just look under ‘Upcoming’ tasks. The best way to see the plan is for “View” select ‘List’ and for “Group by” select “Due Date”.
