Call for Art – The People of Hong Kong

The Art Exhibition will be postponed to November this year seeing that most of the Hong Kong artists are away this summer. We would like to invite those who are still interested in joining. The new deadline for submission will be on October 24. The exhibition period will be announced in another post closer to the date.

Hong Kong is diverse, and even more are its people. Whether you are thinking of people of different ages, ethnicity and professions, this city is made up of a variety of people that make the city the way it is. We would love to see and be inspired by what comes to mind when you think of the “People of Hong Kong”.

We invite both new and established artists to create a piece of art that captures some aspect of ‘The People of Hong Kong’ that speaks to the artist. We accept drawings, paintings, photography, digital, mixed media as well as 3D sculptures and spoken word.

Exhibition Period: TBC
Venue: 5/F, 6 Wilmer St, Sai Ying Pun
Deadline: October 24 (for picture and description of art for selection)
